The Soul Path begins where uncertainty ends.
Our brain has one main purpose: to protect us. We have many programmes running within us, both consciously and unconsciously, but we often underestimate their impact. That’s why it’s so important to become aware of them – especially when you’re embarking on a new path in life.
Everything that feels unfamiliar, everything that isn’t clear along the way, is often immediately perceived as a threat. Your subconscious mind will quickly pull out all the stops to sabotage your next steps. And while this can sometimes be helpful, when it comes to walking your Soul Path, it can be exactly what stands in your way the most. Please don’t let it discourage you.
Because unfamiliar territory is nothing more than: unfamiliar. But we can take small steps to get used to the new. The more you step outside your comfort zone, the more you teach yourself that something new doesn’t necessarily have to be bad. Because that’s often exactly where the magic happens.
The most beautiful thing is when it’s a path you can’t simply copy from anyone else. Because it’s your own completely individual, deeply personal path – guided by, I think you already know: your intuition. That thing that has been on your mind for a while now, and that only YOU can bring into the world. That is yours.
If there’s something in your mind that won’t let you go, something that keeps coming back to you again and again, then let this be your reminder that you are the one who can bring it to life. So take it seriously. Take yourself seriously – even if you don’t yet know whether it will work out or not.
Imagine yourself 20, 30 or 40 years from now: Do you think your future self would be glad that you at least gave it a try?
One important point is this: We often take things far too seriously. And perfectionism is sometimes the enemy of the very best ideas. Try, fail, and make it even better.
Take the pressure off yourself with the misconception that it has to be perfect from the very beginning. It should be real. It’s allowed to grow – with you.
My approach is more like this: Does it bring me joy? Can I do it with passion? Can I give something to others? Does it fulfil me? And that’s exactly what I use as my guide.
The only things you should truly take seriously are your deepest, innermost desires. Your absolute best-case scenario – what your life could look like. Take the steps and believe in the co-creation you have with the universe. All it asks of you is alignment within yourself.
As long as it feels right to you, you are on the right path. 🤍
