Why breaks are sacred
What are a few days, months, or even years – if your path has brought you exactly here? If you’ve been following a path that once felt right for you, it’s only natural that a new chapter needs time to unfold.
If you feel like you need a pause right now, allow yourself to take one. Pauses are essential for your growth. When we look at the stars, we are collectively in a time of transition … and maybe you are too.
In stillness, you have the opportunity to truly receive what you need in this moment. A kind of stillness that doesn’t drain your energy, but restores it. This constant doing and pushing is a pattern many people carry within them. We were never taught how to pause. We were never taught how to truly rest or give ourselves permission to slow down.
That’s why it’s our responsibility to consciously give ourselves this time. To calm our nervous system. To not always have to function, but simply be. Who told us we always have to be on the go, when pauses are actually so valuable? The less we define ourselves through milestones and achievements – and realize that we are worthy without them – the more we can allow ourselves to lean back.
To surrender to life without immediately needing to move forward. The mind often runs ahead before it even knows the way – especially in times of transition. When uncertainty is present, when emotions rise and reveal their depth. How are people supposed to keep going in such moments without ever truly listening inward?
And yet, the system often pushes us to do exactly that. This is where self-love comes in. Pauses are essential. Before the strong energy of this year can fully unfold, you do yourself the greatest favor by being with yourself. In stillness. Feeling what you truly want and taking conscious, small steps forward – at your own pace, without comparison.
And trust this: if you need a pause, you will find ways to create it.
The moment you recognize yourself as your most valuable asset, you create the space needed to return to your inner calm. Pauses create clarity. And from clarity, actions arise. And from action, your (new) path unfolds.
Trust the space you might find yourself in right now. Even if it feels like stillness – you are moving. Maybe your energy is gathering. Maybe it’s returning to the present moment so you can access your full power in a way that wasn’t possible before.
Stillness is growth, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Rest is growth, when you consciously allow yourself that space. We often confuse growth with performance, with «higher, faster, further». But just because you’re higher up doesn’t mean you see more clearly.
Sometimes, being up there takes you too far away from what truly nourishes you. And the higher you go, the more unclear your vision can become if you lose connection to the ground. For me, the ground is my purpose – my why. The clearer that is, the clearer your path becomes.
In this new phase we’re in, growth works differently. Success works differently.
It’s not just about what you achieve. It’s about what you create from within. Something that nourishes you, your environment, and your desires – because it grows on fertile ground. Anything created too far from the ground cannot take root. It may feel right in your mind, but without roots, it lacks depth.
Trust yourself. Trust your feelings. Trust your heart’s desires. Trust the emptiness, too. Sometimes things need to empty out before they can be filled again.
Your instincts are not misleading you. Your body is speaking to you. And your soul even more so – even if it’s very quiet at times. It’s always there. By your side.
It works from within – but only if you allow the stillness.
Always remember: your path is unlike anybody else’s. Trust your own timing, and don’t compare your journey to others. Take the rest when you need it. Everything unfolds in its own time. 🌬️
